About The Position

As a Salesforce Associate Consultant at Nuvitek, you will work alongside senior developers and architects on federal government implementations. You'll gain hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Components, and the Salesforce platform while receiving mentorship from experienced team members. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Basic understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and data model
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or C#
  • Basic understanding of database concepts and SQL querying
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning in the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Meticulous approach to coding, testing, and documentation
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (required within 6 months of hire)

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (preferred or obtained within first year)
  • Salesforce Certified Public Sector Solutions Accredited Professional (preferred or obtained within first year)
  • Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant (preferred or obtained within first year)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior developers to implement Salesforce solutions using Apex and Lightning Components
  • Support configuration activities including workflows, validation rules, and process automation
  • Assist in creating customized reports and dashboards for federal stakeholders
  • Contribute to data cleanup and transformation tasks, maintaining data integrity
  • Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and coding standards
  • Help maintain technical documentation for internal knowledge sharing
  • Engage in sprint planning and retrospectives, contributing to process improvements
  • Support troubleshooting efforts for minor technical issues
  • Work with business analysts to gather feedback and requirements for enhancements
  • Conduct testing and quality assurance on developed features
