About The Position

About the role The Salesforce Analyst II partners with business representatives at all levels to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. This role recommends process enhancements and automation solutions to optimize productivity and maximize ROI. Responsibilities include defining, prioritizing, and documenting requirements; creating business requirement documents/user stories; developing QA test scripts; configuring Salesforce declaratively; and ensuring data security. This role spans all stages of a project lifecycle and participates in Agile ceremonies. In this role you will: Serve as a subject matter expert and project manager, assisting with project timelines and ensuring on ‑ time delivery Build relationships with users, stakeholders, and partners while demonstrating Salesforce platform expertise Analyze business processes and promote process ‑ driven solutions to enhance accuracy and efficiency Prepare and maintain detailed records, documentation, and reports for presentations and summaries Create functional business requirement documents and user stories Develop and maintain strong understanding of data security Communicate benefits of new ideas to stakeholders Stay current on SFDC features and recommend enhancements Assess training needs, develop materials, and deliver training Mentor the Salesforce Analyst I Identify dependencies in project requirements impacting other systems or processes Utilize APEX Data Loader and/or Import Wizard for data transfer and cleansing Participate in Agile ceremonies such as scrum, sprint planning, and refinement Use declarative Salesforce tools to build flows, validation rules, sharing rules, and layouts

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Agile/SAFe Lean enterprise concepts
  • Strong understanding of Dealer Services operations
  • Advanced Salesforce knowledge including objects, fields, flows, Lightning, Clouds, and Communities
  • Advanced communication principles and practices
  • Knowledge of account management systems such as Provenir, CPW, AutoSuite, AutoIMS, and DealerSource
  • Experience working in a matrix organization with cross ‑ functional teams
  • Ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision
  • Advanced interpersonal, verbal, written, and collaboration skills
  • Understanding of auto finance loan operations
  • Advanced analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast ‑ paced, high ‑ pressure environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detail ‑ oriented with strong accuracy and reporting skills
  • Ability to understand diverse viewpoints and interact effectively

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience (preferred)
  • 2–4 years of advanced experience working in the Salesforce CRM platform (required)
  • Salesforce.com Certified Platform Administrator (required)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and project manager, and assist with the creation of project timelines, and ensure projects are delivered on time with little supervision
  • Build and foster relationships with business users, stakeholders and partners by displaying industry knowledge and expertise in the Salesforce.com platform
  • Analyze current business processes, and champion the Salesforce team’s proven ability to provide business process solutions that increase accuracy and efficiency
  • Prepare and maintain various detailed records, documentation, and reports in order to provide information for summaries, presentations, and ad hoc reports
  • Create functional business requirement documents/user stories
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of data security
  • Communicates potential benefits of new ideas to stakeholders
  • Keep abreast of new SFDC features and functionality using this knowledge to provide recommendations for process improvements, and update end users
  • Assess training needs, create and maintain training materials and user documentation as well as provide user training
  • Act as a mentor to the Salesforce Analyst I
  • Incorporate and account for dependencies in new project requirements that may impact other existing business processes or IT systems
  • Strong experience in user interface configuration, data transfer and cleansing via APEX Data Loader and/or SFDC Import Wizard
  • Participate and facilitate Agile related ceremonies such as scrum, sprint planning and refining meetings.
  • Use declarative Salesforce skills to build and maintain flows, validation and sharing rules, page layouts and others as needed
