About The Position

Calero is seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to own the architecture, optimization, and ongoing management of our Salesforce environment. This senior individual contributor will serve as the organization’s Salesforce subject‑matter expert, responsible for ensuring the platform is stable, scalable, secure, and aligned to evolving business needs.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of hands‑on Salesforce administration experience.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification required.
  • Experience working within, optimizing, or implementing 2–3 Salesforce instances.
  • Background supporting organizations of similar size and maturity to Calero.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, automation, security, and integration principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Experience supporting CPQ configuration, pricing, and product setup.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, with a proactive mindset toward continuous improvement.

  • Competency with Conga Composer (queries, templates) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the owner of Calero’s overall CRM architecture and administration.
  • Evaluate the existing Salesforce instance to optimize workflows, automation, functionality, and scalability.
  • Maintain user interfaces, including page layouts, field types, forms, approval processes, and validation rules.
  • Implement approved configuration changes while minimizing business disruption.
  • Oversee and monitor integrations with other business applications.
  • Maintain system integrations, ensure workflow stability, and troubleshoot issues proactively.
  • Uninstall or archive unused applications while preserving historical data integrity.
  • Collaborate closely with IT on data protection, security, and permission frameworks.
  • Manage user provisioning and deprovisioning.
  • Support new‑hire onboarding with core Salesforce training focused on navigation, record layouts, and relevant business processes.
  • Address user support needs and elevate overall user experience, navigation, and adoption.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, Product Management, IT, and other teams to define requirements and recommend scalable solutions.
  • Streamline workflows, approvals, and data flow across systems and departments.
  • Evaluate current business processes, data structures, and functionality to identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Maintain the integrity, usability, and consistency of dashboards and reports across the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support reporting needs tied to financial pipeline, bookings, commissions, SLAs, and operational metrics.
  • Work with internal teams and tools to maintain field accuracy and data completeness, including coordinating field changes with integration owners.
  • Produce and maintain documentation supporting business continuity, enhancements, and “How‑To” guidance for users.
  • Support Sales Enablement with training materials and ongoing CRM education.
  • Maintain Calero’s product catalog, partnering with Finance, Product Management, and other stakeholders.
  • Configure pricing, constraints, and price rules within the Quote Line Editor.
  • Apply financial coding for subscriptions, invoices, billing, and revenue‑related data.
  • Manage currency conversion updates and provide quote‑generation support as needed.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations and Finance to ensure reporting accuracy for financial and operational visibility.
  • Maintain existing Conga queries and templates used across the organization.
  • Stay informed on new Salesforce capabilities and recommend enhancement opportunities.
  • Assess upcoming Salesforce releases and plan necessary updates or deployments.
