Sales VP, Data Center Sales

About The Position

Presidio is investing in a dedicated, national Data Center Sales capability — and we're looking for a Sales VP to build and lead it. This is a build role: you will recruit and develop a high-performance sales team, establish Presidio's footprint in storage and compute across key markets, and drive revenue through a combination of direct enterprise engagement and deep OEM partnerships with Cisco, Dell Technologies, Pure Storage, VAST Data, and others. This is a rare opportunity to own a P&L, shape a go-to-market from the ground up, and operate at the intersection of traditional infrastructure and the AI infrastructure wave reshaping enterprise data centers.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of enterprise technology sales experience, with at least 3–5 years in a sales leadership role
  • Demonstrated success selling or leading teams that sell data center solutions — storage, compute, or converged/hyper-converged infrastructure
  • Experience in a VAR, systems integrator, or OEM environment strongly preferred
  • Track record of building and scaling sales teams from early stages
  • Ability to articulate an AI infrastructure value proposition to both technical and business audiences
  • Strong executive presence and experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable with ambiguity, energized by ownership

  • Existing relationships with Cisco, Dell Technologies, Pure Storage, NetApp, VAST Data, or similar OEM partners a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Build, hire, and develop a national team of Data Center sales professionals
  • Define territory structure, coverage models, and quota frameworks
  • Coach and mentor the team on consultative selling, executive engagement, and competitive positioning
  • Own and drive Data Center (storage and compute) revenue targets across the national portfolio
  • Establish a disciplined pipeline creation culture — targeting new logos, expansions, and reactivations
  • Collaborate with Presidio Digital and Cloud PS leadership on integrated solution plays
  • Serve as Presidio's executive-level relationship owner with key OEM partners including Cisco, Dell Technologies, Pure Storage, and VAST Data
  • Drive co-selling motions, joint business planning, and partner-funded programs
  • Leverage MDF, spiffs, and partner enablement resources to amplify team productivity
  • Equip your team to lead with an AI infrastructure story — connecting data center investments to customers' AI readiness, GPU compute, and storage architecture needs
  • Position Presidio as the trusted advisor for customers navigating on-prem AI infrastructure decisions
  • Bridge data center engagements into broader Presidio Digital solution conversations
  • Engage directly with C-suite and VP-level buyers at strategic accounts
  • Drive Executive Briefing Center (EBC) engagements with OEM partners including Cisco, Dell Technologies, Pure Storage, and VAST Data
  • Build Presidio's brand in the data center market through thought leadership and presence
