Inside the Role The Vocational Training Analyst is a member of the Vocational & MD Marketing and Strategy team focused on optimizing training for internal stakeholders, Dealers, and TEMs. Supporting both Freightliner and Western Star brands. The primary objective of this position will be to assist with content creation, implement communication strategy, and support all training methods related to the Vocational & MD products. This position will work closely with Product Marketing, Field Sales, and other DTNA Training Managers to provide a superior Customer Experience. What You Drive at DTNA: Maintain a high level of DTNA product knowledge and be highly proficient with DTNA services and resources Assist in development and execution of strategies to effectively train key stakeholders – dealer sales teams, DTNA sales teams, truck equipment manufacturers (TEMs) – on features and benefits of Freightliner and Western Star vocational products, spec’ing for target vocational segments, features and tools for truck equipment upfit and truck selling skills Lead monthly newsletter content timeline and development with key stakeholders Generate story boards, scriptures and other assets for online training modules with Subject Matter Experts Build online training modules with internal software and upload on the Learning Management System (LMS) Collaborate with vocational product marketing and segment strategy teams to determine product and segment training needs/timing, appropriate training content, messaging and distribution channels Co-Facilitate DTNA sales and dealer training ride & drive events to drive hands-on product engagement; collaborate with product marketing to determine event agenda and determine appropriate product to highlight at events Support development of training programs, events and content for TEM sales teams as needed Collaborate with Training Development team and other internal subject matter experts to drive continuous improvement of training aids Maintain a strong communication channel with corporate and network instructors Co-creation of network interfaces to improve dealer collaboration within digital platforms
