About The Position

At Corbion, we exist to champion preservation in all its forms, preserving food and food production, health, and our planet. The Sales Support Specialist works in a high profile, high customer contact area and must demonstrate proficiency throughout the order to cash cycle with order entry, communication, knowledge sharing, problem solving and leadership in one's own account base. The ideal candidate must be highly organized and able to analyze information quickly and objectively. This role requires the use of independent judgement, which will directly impact customers daily. This role must be able to multi-task and perform cross-functional duties successfully and ensure the clients supply flow is conducted in a manner that is constant with Corbion’s service level expectations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma; additional college preferred, but not required
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service or administrative support areas, ideally in a global and/or manufacturing environment
  • Combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Exposure to manufacturing/supply chain industry is helpful
  • Collaborate with other departments including Logistics, Supply Chain, and Finance
  • Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and problem solve while maintaining customer service focus
  • Microsoft Office, strong typing skills and ten-key
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position (standing or sitting) for extended periods during the work shift.
  • Ability to remain seated and work on a computer for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and assist sales with order entry and related requests
  • Manage customer calls and emails quickly and effectively
  • Track shipments and manage returns
  • Master and apply product/technical, supply chain and logistical knowledge to assist customer requests
  • Proactively resolve customer issues with internal partners
  • Issue credits and perform re-bills
  • Maintain customer notes and automated notifications
  • Understand customer order patterns
