Requirements

  • Associate degree in business, marketing, sales, horticulture, or a related field preferred
  • 2–3 years of experience in customer service, marketing, inside sales, or a related role required
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with SAP or similar systems preferred
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, team-oriented environment, especially during peak seasons
  • Bilingual (Spanish or French) is a plus
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to take initiative

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support to Sales Representatives, ensuring timely and accurate handling of orders, quotes, and customer requests
  • Manage all aspects of order processing, including order entry, uploads, tracking deliveries, and resolving discrepancies
  • Communicate regularly with Sales Representatives to provide updates on order status, issues, and resolutions
  • Serve as a point of contact for assigned customer accounts, assisting with order navigation and providing high-quality customer service
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, including handling high call volumes during peak seasons
  • Investigate and resolve order-related issues, including tracking shipments, coordinating with freight, and ensuring timely follow-up
  • Prepare reports, status updates, and assist with data tracking to support sales activities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, Sales Representatives, and internal teams
  • Collaborate with team members on special projects and cross-train to support other customer relations functions as needed
  • Identify opportunities to support sales growth through upselling or cross-selling when appropriate
