About The Position

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this position is responsible for supporting & promoting Sales, Rentals and Services of Sky Climber products into the Commercial & Industrial market segments. The ideal candidate will have a background in the Commercial/Industrial construction supply business with excellent business and customer service acumen. This is a developmental role designed to prepare the right candidate for a future in Outside Sales within the Sky Climber Access Solutions network of branches.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability multi-task effectively and work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to climb steps and ladders at height
  • Aggressive individual able to make sound business decisions
  • Ability to lift 70#
  • Work environment may include working on elevated surfaces, roofs, and confined spaces
  • Work environment may also include working outdoors in various levels of heat or cold
  • This is a safety sensitive position

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a commercial/industrial equipment rental business is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist branch sales representatives with quote preparation, distribution and follow up
  • Source products for re-sale on behalf of the outside sales team as requested
  • Assist branch sales representatives with maintaining and enhancing customer relationships
  • Maintain a high level of outbound sales calls within target market segments to develop leads
  • Prepare & maintain field training presentations
  • Construct & distribute monthly sales flyers via email blitzes
  • Identify / Source & Price additional safety related products to expand the product line
  • Perform site evaluation, rigging assistance, perform training, and do bill of material for projects
  • Collections activity if a discrepancy exists
  • Manage the contracts executed with sub-contractors
  • Purchasing
  • Assist in setting and maintaining min/max levels of inventory
  • Management and development of CRM database
  • Maintain high volume of cold calls
