As Stemilt’s Sales Support Specialist, you’ll support the Export Sales Team by managing export documentation, order processing, and coordination of cherry shipments and other products. You’ll work closely with customers, freight forwarders, USDA inspectors, and internal teams to ensure orders are accurate and completed on time. Responsibilities include entering orders, scheduling truck appointments, answering phones, maintaining inventory awareness, and supporting other departments as needed. We are looking for someone who is organized, attentive to detail, and capable of managing several priorities while working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school student, graduate, or equivalent (no degree required).
• Strong typing and phone communication skills.
• Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and strong attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Flexible availability, especially during high-volume harvest periods.
• Ability to take directions from multiple supervisors.
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident communicating in person and over the phone.
• Committed to delivering high-quality work with a collaborative, transparent, and service-oriented approach.
• Adaptable and open to change, with a willingness to learn and grow.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the fruit industry preferred, particularly with cherries.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Stemilt export sales staff in the Wenatchee office with export documentation and order processing for cherry shipments and other products.
• Communicate daily with customers, freight forwarders/agents, USDA inspectors, and internal staff.
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external partners.
• Enter orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Answer phones, take detailed messages, and direct calls appropriately.
• Schedule and coordinate truck appointments.
• Provide requested information to other departments as needed.
• Maintain awareness of inventory levels.
• Perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy environment.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
