As a Sales Support Specialist, you’ll play a key role in keeping our sales process moving. You will support our field sales team by handling the essential day-to-day tasks that turn a lead into a successful order. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong customer service background who is looking to grow their career in a professional, fast-paced office environment. This is a hybrid position based out of our global HQ in Rosemont, IL. #LI-HYBRID What You’ll Do In this role, you are the "go-to" person for our sales reps and customers. You’ll focus on being accurate, responsive, and helpful across these areas:

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a Customer Service, Office Support, or Retail role where you handled multiple tasks at once.
  • Communication: Clear and friendly written and verbal communication skills. You should feel comfortable talking to both internal teammates and external customers.
  • Detail-Oriented: A knack for spotting errors and making sure paperwork is correct.
  • Tech Skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook). Basic experience with Excel is required
  • Reliability: The ability to work independently and manage your own "to-do" list to meet deadlines.

  • if you’ve used a CPQ or CRM before, that’s a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Proposal & Quote Support: Work closely with the sales team to create and send out accurate price quotes and proposals to customers in a timely manner.
  • Problem Solving: Act as a liaison between departments (like Customer Operations, Finance, and Delivery & Installation) to help resolve any issues or "holds" that might slow down an order.
  • Order Quality Check: Review orders to make sure all the required signatures and documents are included before they move to the processing stage.
  • Database Management: Keep customer information updated and accurate within our system (Salesforce.com) so the team always has the best data.
  • Team Assistance: Help the field sales team with administrative tasks and occasionally assist with customer questions when extra support is needed.
