What you will do: Respond to customer inquiries regarding account status, credit terms, and payment issues. Deliver prompt and professional customer service to resolve concerns effectively. Assist in evaluating and processing credit applications, including collecting required documentation and conducting initial assessments. Support the credit team in setting up job accounts and processing lien releases, particularly for solar-related projects. Collaborate with the solar team to manage solar material documentation, track inventory, and ensure accurate credit allocations on customer accounts. Provide general administrative assistance to the solar team, including coordinating communications, maintaining records, and supporting project documentation needs. Maintain accurate customer account information in the financial system. Monitor accounts for overdue payments and discrepancies. Aid the credit team in collection efforts by preparing and distributing reminders, statements, and follow-up correspondence. Ensure all credit and collections documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed. Assist in generating reports for management review. Lead the review and monitoring of the credit department’s email inbox, ensuring timely responses and appropriate delegation to team members. Adherent to company policies and applicable regulations in all credit and collections activities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in credit, collections, or administrative support, preferably in a renewable energy or solar-related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in process improvement and handling customer accounts preferred.
