The Pollardwater division of Ferguson Waterworks is a leading supplier of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) products, specializing in tools, equipment, and supplies for municipal water and wastewater operations throughout North America. Since 1837, Pollardwater's team of industry experts focuses on providing superior customer service and solutions for a wide variety of industry needs. We are seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Sales Support Representative focused on customer support and satisfaction This position is hybrid from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm and will work onsite 3 full days in Newport News, VA. Pollardwater is currently seeking an individual to fill an immediate need for a Sales Support Representative.

Requirements

0-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience is preferred.
Exhibit strong skills for sales, including the ability to upsell.
Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and ability to make decisions in a timely manner.
Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment & follow through on commitments.
General digital literacy including Microsoft Office.
Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes.

Nice To Haves

Highly motivated and customer service oriented mentality with ability to build relationships is a plus.

Responsibilities

Work together with Sales and Project Managers associates to support customer needs by determining the best products and solutions.
Provide customers with timely quotations and accurate sales orders.
Answer sales calls for general information, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions.
Effectively use customer relationship management (CRM), order/bid entry system, and phone system.
Manage and complete tasks from a shared inbox.
Coordinate deliveries on behalf of customers.
