We are searching for an associate ready to step into a Valve Automation Sales Support role and become an integral part of the Valve Automation team. This associate will report directly to the Valve & Automation Branch Manager and will spend time learning our V&A business. This associate will learn all aspects of our valve automation business and help provide solutions to our customers on a key intentional product. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of inside sales experience in an Industrial, manufacturing, or technical environment required
  • 3-5 years of Valve & Automation sales knowledge preferred
  • Ability to understand technical specifications and translate them into customer solutions
  • Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and ability to make decisions in a timely manner.
  • Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment & follow through on commitments.
  • Highly motivated and customer service-oriented mentality with ability to build relationships is a plus.
  • General digital literacy including Microsoft Office, Excel knowledge a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to understand technical specifications and translate them into customer solutions

Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to inbound sales inquiries (phone, email, online)
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and product recommendations
  • Collaborate with outside sales and technical teams to meet customer needs
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Follow up on leads and close sales opportunities in a timely manner
  • Stay informed on product offerings, industry trends, and competitor activity
  • Build relationships with vendor partners to negotiate availability, pricing, and order timelines.
