About The Position

SAS Safety, a division of Bunzl Distribution, is a dynamic and rapidly growing leading manufacturer of industrial personal protective equipment products. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and hands-on Sales Support Manager that will partner with Sales Leadership, Accounting, and other cross-functional departments to support profitable growth and operational excellence. The Sales Support Manager will report directly to the Director of Sales and play a key role in supporting sales management processes to ensure that the objectives of profitable sales growth and budgetary targets are consistently achieved. This position is client-facing and will require regular interaction with National Sales Managers, Key Account Managers, Inside Sales Team members, and Manufacturer’s Sales Representatives. Additionally, direct communication with distributor customers will be necessary. Occasional travel is expected to facilitate our participation in industry trade and association events and meetings.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales, Pricing, Customer Service leadership, or related analytical position.
  • Experience with CRM/ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 strongly preferred.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office and Power BI tools/ similar analytic tools.
  • Experience with SAGE X3 preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong leadership and customer service skills with the ability to ensure that a high level of service and quality is maintained.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess strong planning, organizational, time management
  • High level of attention to detail is required.
  • 10% (+) travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve processes for new account approval, pricing setup, and account assignment.
  • Own the customer pricing contract lifecycle; will negotiate/renegotiate terms and ensure accurate implementation.
  • Analyze and approve special pricing agreements in alignment with company profit objectives.
  • Administer distributor and buying-group agreements; track customer and group spends, rebates, accruals, and financial impacts.
  • Review and approve rebate payouts for accounting to process accurate payments.
  • Evaluate ROI and approve sample product requests submitted by sales managers and representatives.
  • Create, audit, and validate commission reports prior to Director of Sales approval.
  • Analyze and maintain Power BI reports to include; sales trends and sales rep performance.
  • Serve as the system owner for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM). Will train sales users and monitor compliance with established processes and best practices.
  • Serve as the account manager for unassigned accounts.
