About The Position

MGT + Ednetics is currently looking to fill a full-time Sales Support Manager position in our Boise location. The Sales Support Manager manages Inside Sales Representatives as well as sales support resources for the entire Ednetics Sales Team. For Inside Sales activity, this role will be responsible for implementing corporate sales strategies, coordinating and tracking the sales activity of their team, reviewing sales metrics, and sales coaching. As part of being an effective sales manager, this role must maintain a good understanding of our product portfolio and business practices to effectively guide their team and customers through the full sales cycle. They will act as an initial escalation path for their team and for customers to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. As the Sales Support lead, this role will coordinate and manage a wide range of back-end resources, tools, and processes that support sellers and sales activities for the entire Department. They will identify support needs for sales staff, determine available resources, work with management to prioritize support efforts, and ensure quality support is provided. This will extend to owning or coordinating other resources to provide support activities such as managing sales collateral, assisting with bid responses, tracking partner registrations, and various other tasks identified. As a team manager, other tasks will include setting team goals, managing team budgets, motivating the team, and overseeing hiring and training. Throughout all of their activities, the Sales Support Manager will work cross-functionally and build collaborative relationships with other Ednetics departments and with manufacturer partner sales teams. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and comfortable collaborating across teams.

Requirements

  • Five (5) or more years of sales experience required
  • BS degree in Business Administration or a related field, preferred
  • Experience supporting K-12, higher education, state, or local government technology environments strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Cisco Systems, Aruba, and/or Juniper products and services preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to motivate and influence others with professionalism, discretion, and trust
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
  • Strong negotiation, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and resourceful

Responsibilities

  • Direct management of team including setting performance objectives, team coaching and performance monitoring
  • Provide administrative and back-end sales support necessary to achieve overall sales targets
  • Oversee and prepare on-going team sales forecasts, track and analyze sales data for trend assessment and strategy improvement
  • Monitor sales margins; approve discount rates or special pricing objectives.
  • Provide staff with escalated assistance for customer engagements, account management and opportunity development
  • Effectively address customer satisfaction issues as escalated for management assistance
  • Coordinate with Marketing to manage sales and marketing collateral library
  • Assist Sales Management in creating and maintaining sales process documentation
  • Assist Account Managers with the building and delivery of RFP responses
  • Assist in monitor and communicating new bid postings
  • Identify and communicate partner promotions
  • Track and report on the status of partner registrations for the overall sales team
  • Advise, oversee, and mentor sales team members to foster growth and development
  • Recruit, interview, and hire high quality employees for various sales and support roles
  • Identify individual and team strengths and development programs to effectuate these skills
  • Manage and approve day-to-day corporate policies including expense reports, vacation time, and other company programs
