About The Position

At Kirby Risk Electrical Supply, our Sales Support Associates are key to keeping our operations running smoothly-connecting customers, vendors, and internal teams while providing exceptional service every step of the way. This is a hands-on role with variety, challenge, and opportunities for long-term growth and development. In this role, you'll assist the sales and operations teams with customer service, administrative support, and daily coordination to ensure seamless business operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 1 year of clerical or administrative experience.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
Professional phone etiquette and a strong sense of urgency.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and communicate effectively in person and by phone.

Responsibilities

Serve as a receptionist and switchboard operator, managing phone calls and directing inquiries.
Provide clerical and administrative support to sales and operations teams.
Track and organize business-critical information, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation.
Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal departments.
Maintain records, prepare correspondence, and assist with data entry as needed.
Support a team environment that values collaboration, communication, and accountability.
