The Sales Support Associate is responsible for positioning Healthfirst as a socially responsible health partner. S/he will develop and coordinate plans of action that promote company-wide enrollment through promotions, events, sponsorships and collaboration with like-minded partners. The representative will work closely with Medicare Sales Managers and representatives to increase awareness, knowledge of Healthfirst’s products and services, and to also increase Healthfirst’s market-share in the territory. This individual will identify enrollment event opportunities for seniors--individually or in groups--to promote alternative plan options. Through community marketing, s/he will have a direct impact on membership growth and retention. Using innovative and strategic growth plans developed in collaboration with the sales team, the Sales Support Associate will have the ability to join a team dedicated to helping some of the most vulnerable populations in New York. Sales Support has the primary responsibility of connecting Healthfirst with community-based organizations, community health centers, NYCHA, community providers, faith-based organizations, community boards, and city agencies. Healthfirst is New York’s largest not-for-profit health insurer offering its nearly 1.7 million members access to high-quality, affordable healthcare.
