As a Summer Intern for Business Development and Strategic Partnerships, you will support the team responsible for driving inorganic growth initiatives and transforming health outcomes through strategic alliances. You will play a hands-on role in sourcing and evaluating opportunities that align with our mission to evolve the science of weight health. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Business Development as well as the Head of Commercial Growth, you will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with everything from market research to the execution of high-impact deals. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the healthcare ecosystem and learn how a global health leader structures complex partnerships.

Requirements

  • Academic Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Analytical Rigor: Ability to assist in assessing market dynamics and modeling potential deal financials.
  • Communication Skills: Strong presentation and writing skills, with the ability to articulate complex health offerings clearly.
  • Professional Curiosity: A proactive, "player-coach" mindset with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and responsiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis: Support the development of WW’s growth strategy by researching key markets, partnership segments, and healthcare trends.
  • Pipeline Management: Assist in identifying and evaluating potential acquisition and partnership targets to build a robust deal pipeline.
  • Sales Support: Help prepare strategic context and materials for meetings between target companies and internal WW stakeholders.
  • Due Diligence: Contribute to the evaluation process for new opportunities, ensuring a rigorous approach to assessing potential transactions.
  • Strategic Narratives: Help draft presentations and decision narratives for executive leadership regarding M&A strategy and pipeline progress.
  • Operational Readiness: Support the establishment of project plans to ensure operational readiness for new partnerships pursued by the team.
