About The Position

The Business Banking Lending and Cash Management team (L&CM) is a customer-focused team comprised of subject matter experts across conventional lending, SBA, and Cash Management who play a key role in supporting both our clients and our internal partners. Planning, execution and continuous improvement are critical to the team’s success.
As the Sales Strategy & Support Associate within Business Banking you will be executing innovative initiatives and overseeing ongoing processes that improve the efficiency and effectiveness within Business Banking conventional lending. In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert in reporting and data analytics, collaborating on joint initiatives to support and advance business objectives.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge and experience in Financial Services, Business Banking, Lending, and strategic operations and product development.
• Exceptional time management and planning skills, with the ability to independently coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while being supportive and creative.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify data trends and patterns, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making and business improvements.
• Proficiency in Pitch Pro, Tableau and/or Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a strong ability to utilize these tools for effective communication and analysis.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to perform independent analysis, ask probing questions, and challenge existing processes to drive improvements.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to understand data deeply and provide actionable insights. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate reports.
• Strong communication skills to clearly convey complex data insights and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail while ensuring quality deliverables.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, including advanced skills in pivot tables and macros, to support data analysis and presentation development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive data analysis to support strategic business decisions, including generating reporting and performing in-depth assessment of KPIs, control triggers, capacity plans, and scorecard results, while providing root cause analysis and actionable insights.
• Attain a thorough understanding of the business banking lending program to drive business efficiencies and production results, identifying opportunities for manual process automation to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored analysis, while supporting ad-hoc reporting requests to meet dynamic business needs.
• Maintain and enhance Tableau dashboards to optimize efficiency and user experience, designing new views and ensuring evergreen updates.
• Develop and present detailed PowerPoint decks for monthly business and control reviews, ensuring presentations are visually engaging and effectively communicate key insights, while working closely with stakeholders to incorporate feedback and refine content.
• Ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables by influencing, designing, and developing strategic processes to uphold high standards of excellence.
