Watch the video" In this Product Specialist sales role, you will be responsible for driving Agilent Technologies' high-performance Mass Spectrometry (MS) systems and solutions into commercial, government and academic institutions in PA/NJ/ DE. You will work both independently and in a team with Account Managers and Application Engineers, carry quota and be compensated for all high-performance LC/MS and GC/MS sales in the specified geography. You will be expected to create and develop MS opportunities, as well as successful strategies and tactics to sell complex MS-based solutions. You will be one of an elite team of specialists driving Agilent's success in this competitive marketplace.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Master's Degree or University Degree equivalent within Biology, Chemistry, BioChemistry, or Molecular Biology, or a Science related field
  • 2+ years experience in industry, academia, government or sales
  • Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Mass Spectrometry and its applications and workflows
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a team in a complex matrix environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical workflows preferred
