About The Position

Sales Representative / Generator Sales Specialist / Sales Engineer to join the Power Generation team with a well-known service organization. The successful Sales Representative / Generator Sales Specialist / Sales Engineer will work with customers seeking emergency standby and/or prime power generation solutions. Prior experience in the power generation industry or related fields (such as commercial electrical contracting) is preferred but not essential. The Sales Representative / Generator Sales Specialist / Sales Engineer will be covering Columbus, OH. Develop tailored solutions to meet customer-specific power needs. Achieve sales goals while maintaining high customer satisfaction Build long-term client relationships and secure repeat business. Identify and pursue high-margin, non-bid opportunities. Manage projects in collaboration with technical and service teams. Represent the company at industry events and trade shows. Mentor junior team members and support internal knowledge sharing. Happy to cover Columbus, OH.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an sales representative, sales engineer, sales executive, account manager, internal sales, applications engineer, electrical engineer or similar.
  • Technical background in generators, engines, or related systems is highly preferred.
  • Basic to intermediate technical knowledge required to perform effectively.
  • A technical electrical/ mechanical engineering qualification.
  • Covering Columbus, OH.
