About The Position

Edeniq is looking for a Sales Representative (“Sales Rep”) to join the Company’s team. This position is responsible for consistent and responsive customer engagement to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and to support sustainable account growth in alignment with Edeniq’s overall business objectives. Primary responsibilities include monitoring and responding to customer inquiries, questions and reports, supporting Sales Directors in managing and expanding customer relationships within an assigned territory, identifying and pursuing growth opportunities, and partnering with internal teams to ensure all client needs are met with a high level of service and expertise. This Sales Rep position does not require previous sales or industry experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree majoring in a business or science program, such as Marketing, Management, Finance, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or other similar field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet Company driving eligibility standards.
  • Must have the ability to reliably travel to customer locations and airports as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of the ethanol and biofuels industry, including plant operations and commercial drivers, preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to understand customer processes and translate technical information into practical business solutions.
  • Account management or technical sales experience preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in biofuel or agricultural industries preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal sales, technical service, and operations teams to ensure effective coordination and timely resolution of customer needs.
  • Accurately document all customer interactions, action items, and opportunities in the Company’s CRM system.
  • Collect, review, and respond to monthly customer performance reports and follow up on outstanding issues.
  • Communicate customer plans, forecasts, and strategic needs to Management to support business planning.
  • Develop practical and creative solutions to address customer concerns and respond promptly to inquiries.
  • Identify unmet customer needs and recommend additional Edeniq services or process improvements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers and industry stakeholders by providing technical insight and industry best practices.
  • Utilize internal sales tools, CRM platforms, and reporting systems to manage accounts and track performance.
  • Represent Edeniq professionally at customer sites, trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Over time and with experience, the Sales Rep will become responsible for developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing customers to support retention, contract renewals, and account growth.
  • Over time and with experience, the Sales Rep will become responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring proactive, professional, and consistent customer communication.
  • In support of Edeniq Sales Directors, conduct regular customer interactions through site visits, phone calls, virtual meetings, and business reviews to understand customer needs and priorities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts, including upselling additional services and solutions.
  • Travel as required to support customer relationships and business objectives.
  • This position exercises independent judgment and discretion on matters of significance, including customer strategy, account planning, and business development decisions.
  • Other tasks and special projects as assigned by the Vice President of Sales.
