Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • TN ABC Wholesaler's Employee Permit
  • Valid Driver License
  • Automobile Insurance - 100/300/50 minimum limits of liability
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Program Advisor, and Diver.

Responsibilities

  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet web sites, and other sources.
  • Prepares monthly planning and goals.
  • Conducts sales reviews with accounts.
  • Maintains existing accounts and provides customer service in accordance with the Company s customer service philosophy and standards.
  • Schedules product promotions and wine and spirit dinners.
  • Travels through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talks with customers at the On-Premise place of business or by telephone.
  • Sustains the minimum number of sales calls as determined by the District Manager. Working a firm daily itinerary is mandatory.
  • Distributes and displays various Point of Sale items.
  • Quotes prices and prepares sales orders.
  • Estimates dates of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of delivery schedules.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions. Maintains customer management profile.
  • Works with Administrative and Operations teammates to assure the best service is provided to customers.
  • Coordinates customer training.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database through customer service.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
  • Investigates and resolves general customer problems.
  • Attends trade shows and special events to represent the Company and its brands.
