About The Position

The Sales Representative, reporting to the Sales Enablement Manager/Lead EPC, is responsible for engaging with educators—both current and prospective customers—to support their selection of academic, social, and emotional learning programs. This role helps districts, schools, and educators address teaching and learning challenges to improve student outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience in inside sales with the ability to manage high volumes of inbound inquiries.
  • Strong customer-facing skills, including hosting Zoom meetings.
  • Experience in customer service or call center environments.
  • Proficiency in data entry and CRM platforms (Salesforce.com preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, Education, or related field.
  • Prior experience as an educator or at least two years of sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and listening.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Zoom.
  • Ability to learn and use CRM tools like Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Self-starter with a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with educators to identify needs related to social and emotional learning.
  • Provide program information, pricing, and generate qualified opportunities to close sales.
  • Deliver virtual presentations (one-on-one or small group), answer detailed questions, and offer preliminary quotes.
  • Host webinars as part of the sales strategy.
  • Collaborate across teams to share successful strategies and develop new prospecting and marketing campaigns.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and consultative sales training.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of leads and prospects.
  • Qualify new leads by providing relevant program details and presentations.
  • Understand customer needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Use CRM tools to manage relationships and follow up with high-potential customers.
  • Work closely with the Chief of Educational Partnership to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Support market expansion through training sessions, webinars, and presentations.
  • Prepare quotes and communicate effectively with existing clients.
  • Renew and grow relationships with current customers.
  • Execute regular communication plans with clients and prospects.
  • Stay informed on products, services, market trends, and competitors.
  • Foster positive relationships with school and district leaders.
  • Support customers in implementing and sustaining program usage.
