SPS Companies Fire Protection Division (Pipe Fabricators) is currently seeking an individual to fill an opening for a full-time Inside Sales Representative role at our Maple Grove location. Our Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for increasing sales and overall company profits through the continued cultivation of existing customers and establishment of new customers. By building strong relationships throughout the company and industry, developing a comprehensive knowledge of our product lines, and exceeding customer needs our sales representatives play an integral role in our continued growth and success. Job Description Overview Promptly answer and return calls from customers placing orders, requesting quotes or information regarding products and services Enter orders into the system accurately and keep customers informed of shipment details Develop knowledge of features and functionality of products, including price points, application, and availability. Establish trusted advisor status with customer, becoming primary facilitator for their requests Identity and promote opportunities for the sale of additional products Follow through on commitments made to customers (bids, existing sales orders, sales follow up, etc.) Develop company relationships and use internal resource to help resolve customer issues quickly Assist other sales team members in resolving customer issues when necessary Understand the nuances of competitor product offerings and their audience Educate customers on our value proposition, clearly explaining what differentiates us from our competition Other duties as assigned Reports to the Sales Manager Wage is $19/hour with a 2.5% Commission program. A guaranteed commission of $800/month will be paid for 6 months. Location: Pipe Fabricators - Maple Grove, MN

  • Wholesale distribution experience preferred
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Any retail or other sales experience is helpful but not required
