We're looking for a motivated, customer‑focused Sales Representative to lead ODRA's sales efforts across California. This field‑based role is ideal for someone with experience in municipal, industrial, or heavy‑equipment sales who enjoys autonomy, travel, and hands‑on demonstrations. You'll be the face of ODRA in California-working closely with municipalities, contractors, public works teams, and dealers to understand their needs, demonstrate ODRA equipment, and close deals that create long‑term value for the communities we serve. This position must be based out of Central California.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of successful outside sales experience (Municipal/industrial/heavy equipment experience strongly preferred)
  • Proven track record with equipment demos and closing deals
  • Strong understanding of public procurement or contractor purchasing processes
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently throughout a large geographic territory
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Must be based in Central California

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, engage, and build relationships with new and existing customers
  • Conduct in‑person sales visits, equipment walkarounds, and on‑site demonstrations
  • Work with municipalities, contractors, public works teams, and dealers to recommend the right ODRA solutions
  • Provide competitive insights, pricing intelligence, and support for bids/tenders
  • Manage territory pipeline and follow-ups using an organized CRM process
  • Guide customers through the full sales cycle-pricing, specs, procurement, and delivery
  • Coordinate and support post‑sale service as needed
  • Stay current on ODRA equipment, model changes, and industry/market trends
