About The Position

We are seeking a Territory Sales Representative with a strong background in selling foodservice distribution products. The ideal candidate excels in acquiring new accounts rather than just maintaining existing ones, and can clearly articulate strategies for building a pipeline, prospecting, and closing new business.

Requirements

2-5+ years of experience in foodservice sales.
Proven success in new business development.
Strong knowledge within the food distribution industry.
Experience in foodservice distribution is strongly preferred.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Must reside in or near the Queens area to cover sales territory in Nassau and Queens.

Nice To Haves

Existing relationships or a book of business is a plus.
Open to candidates from the Italian industry including restaurant owners, interested in moving into sales.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new accounts within the foodservice distribution sector.
Call on Italian-focused operators to promote and sell products.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
Prospect and engage with potential new clients through cold calling and other outreach methods.
Manage customer relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
Perform data entry and account management tasks as needed.
