About The Position

The Eyewear Sales Representative is responsible for soliciting and securing orders for Confidential Company product lines within an assigned geographic territory. This role focuses on growing market demand for the Confidential Company portfolio by managing and expanding a defined group of customer accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted business consultant by providing expertise in product knowledge, technology, pricing, and market insights, serving as a strategic partner to customers.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to execute corporate plans, negotiate strategies, and achieve business objectives.
  • Deliver volume and net sales targets across the full Confidential Company product portfolio.
  • Drive sustainable growth by implementing the Confidential Company Sales Model with strategic customers.
  • Collaborate closely with the local synergy team and other Territory Managers to coordinate customer relationships and business initiatives.
  • Develop and follow an effective call cycle to ensure appropriate service frequency, meeting net sales objectives with customer visits at least twice per quarter.
  • Manage and allocate company resources within the territory efficiently to maximize sales performance.
  • Gather and act on relevant market intelligence that may impact sales opportunities.
  • Monitor performance against territory objectives and implement strategies to optimize results.
  • Motivate, support, coach, train, and develop customers to maximize portfolio sales.
  • Build strong working relationships with all customer stakeholders, including doctors, opticians, store managers, and other decision-makers.
  • Drive and manage customer assortment plans.
  • Ensure brand visual merchandising standards are met, including refreshing and leveraging point-of-purchase (POP) materials.
  • Conduct regular customer staff trainings using brand materials to reinforce product knowledge and ensure consistent brand messaging to consumers.
  • Cultivate existing customer accounts while partnering with the local sales team to identify and prospect new business opportunities.
  • Monitor customer payment cycles and credit history.
  • Participate in collection efforts as directed by the Company.
