Paragon Tempered Glass, LLC, is a specialty fabricator offering custom glass solutions to numerous markets from two U.S.-based facilities. Products include both flat and bent tempered glass to meet demanding expectations of strength, thermal and aesthetic quality. Requirements

  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a driving record in good standing.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and the company.
  • Operate with a sense of positive energy and urgency.
  • Understanding of contribution margins and profitability; forecasting.
  • Ability to work effectively in both a team and an autonomous environment.
  • Participate and demonstrate partnership, cooperation, and teamwork.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior inside/outside sales experience is required; glass fabrication preferred.
  • Familiarity with glass specifications, safety standards, and industry certifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Ability to develop long-term strategic partnerships and maintain relationships with key accounts.
  • Knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape in the glass industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or 5 years equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or glass industry.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of software and tools, as well as MS Office applications.
  • Solid understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to sales, confidentiality, and supply chain management.
  • Ability to generate new leads
  • Ability to provide accurate quotes

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to meet the company's operational objectives while optimizing cost efficiencies and maintaining high-quality standards for both existing and prospective customers.
  • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities through marketing and sales activities, including trade shows, external conferences, and vendor-sponsored events.
  • Negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and conditions while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Research and analyze sources for developing new business and expanding into emerging markets.
  • Qualify new customers and prospects to ensure mutual fit, driving maximum sales profitability and growth.
  • Conduct telephone calls, in-person visits, and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Serve as a liaison between the company and customers, addressing and resolving issues, complaints, and inquiries promptly.
  • Monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on leads and inquiries to convert prospects into customers.
  • Assist in creating specific sales strategies to maximize market penetration.
  • Provide product training and demonstrations to customers as needed.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Travel as required.
