About The Position

The Sales Representative Merchandiser (SRM) is responsible for driving sales and ensuring strong in-store execution of Cordialsa USA products within assigned retail accounts. This role combines sales, merchandising, and customer service, including placing orders, executing displays, maintaining shelf conditions, and building customer relationships. The SRM follows an assigned route and supports promotional execution within a designated territory.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and customer management, preferably in consumer packaged goods (CPG)
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
  • Reside within 50 miles or 60 minutes of the primary work location
  • Flexible schedule with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 lbs (occasionally over 50 lbs), with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

  • Experience in direct store delivery (DSD) and grocery or retail sales is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Sales & Customer Service: Identify sales opportunities, suggest orders, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Display Execution: Fill shelves and secondary displays, ensuring correct placement and pricing.
  • Route Compliance: Adhere to the assigned daily route and visit schedule.
  • Activity Logging: Use company systems to record store visits and point-of-sale activity.
  • Order Management: Recommend orders to ensure product rotation and manage volume business based on promotional plans.
  • Returns Management: Verify returned merchandise, prepare credits, and coordinate pickup timelines (not applicable in all territories).
  • Customer Development: Identify and onboard new customers within the assigned territory.
  • Merchandising & Labeling: Ensure SKU labeling, promotional displays, and organized inventory.
  • Photo Documentation: Capture photos of shelves and displays to document execution.
  • Inventory Control: Ensure product freshness, rotation, and selling condition.
  • Pricing Compliance: Confirm shelf tags and promotional pricing; report discrepancies to the Team Leader.
  • Planogram Execution: Maintain product placement according to company planograms.
  • POP Materials: Place point-of-purchase materials per company guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
