About The Position

The Sales Representative Merchandiser (SRM) is responsible for maximizing sales and ensuring excellent in-store execution of Cordialsa USA products across assigned retail accounts. This role combines sales, merchandising, and customer service by planning store visits, placing orders, setting up displays, and maintaining shelf conditions. The SRM works closely with store managers and staff to build strong relationships, gain additional product placements, ensure pricing accuracy, and execute promotional campaigns. Responsibilities include stocking shelves from backroom inventory, rotating products, placing Point-of-Sale (POS) materials, and following planogram standards. This is a field-based position requiring regular travel to grocery store locations within a designated territory, following a set store call schedule.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years in sales and customer management, preferably in consumer packaged goods (CPG).
Bilingual Spanish/English (50% or more)
Must have car to access multi-store locations within assigned shift
Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
Reside within 50 miles or 60 minutes of the primary work location.
Flexible schedule with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physically able to lift, bend, carry up to 25 lbs (occasionally over 50 lbs), push, and pull while following safety protocols
Authorized to work in the US (without need for sponsorship, now or in the future)
High School Diploma or GED required; College degree highly preferred.
Familiarity with local customers is a plus

Proficient with sales/order management systems and technology

Nice To Haves

Experience in direct store delivery and grocery/retail sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maximize sales by identifying opportunities and providing excellent customer service.
Visit stores and fill in lines and additional spaces, ensuring that prices are correct.
Adhere daily to the established customer route.
Use technological platforms to maintain control and a record of each point of sale.
Suggest orders to the customer to ensure product rotation, manage volume business with store managers based on predefined offer plans, and schedule the delivery date of orders.
Check with the customer for any returned merchandise (credits), prepare and label it, leave it visible, and inform them of the pickup date. (This activity does not apply to some territories.)
Search for potential clients in the assigned territory, presenting portfolios and managing the required documentation for their establishment.
Ensure that shelves are prepared for SKU labeling, that promotional displays are set up correctly, and that inventory is maintained and organized for sale.
Take pictures of displays and shelves, accurately recording the assigned and completed activities within each store or point of sale.
Ensuring that products are rotated and in good selling condition.
Ensure that price tags are displayed and that the promotional price is applied. Communicate any pricing issues promptly (both on and off the shelves) to the team leader.
Validate the placement of products according to the planograms.
Place the POP material according to the instructions.
