Job Summary: Due to its continued growth, Axalta is currently seeking a Sales Representative to enhance existing relationships and develop new opportunities for our General Industrial Business. The Sales Representative will manage a dynamic territory with excellent growth opportunity, so the candidate should possess an understanding of the Liquid & Powder Coatings and E-coat industry. This individual will also be expected to provide excellent customer service, be a strong ambassador of the company’s values and possess the ability to drive sales growth. The candidate must be able to effectively collaborate with all members of Axalta’s Commercial, Technology and support functions. Work Location: This role requires a local presence within one of the following states to allow for onsite visits at customer sites and is not eligible for relocation: OH, IN, MI or KY. Requirements

• High School diploma required with Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline preferred.
• 5+ years industrial sales & territory management experience required with powder/liquid/e-coat coatings alignment strongly preferred.
• Strong training & presentation skills.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM.
• MS Office proficient.
• Travel required: approx. 50% (primarily local).
• Highly self-motivated and an independent performer.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels within the organization.
• Strong customer service aptitude and teamwork skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Powder/Liquid/E-coat application techniques and finishing equipment is an added plus.
• Spanish language skills an added plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales support to accounts in an assigned territory and partner with clients to develop new business plans & opportunities.
• Establish relationships with new clients.
• Service customer needs through trials, start-ups, troubleshooting, training and ongoing account maintenance.
• Assist customers with product selection, testing and performance specifications.
• Conduct customer training at customer locations and at local Axalta facility.
• Continuous expansion & growth of territory profitability.
