The Field Sales Representative is responsible for all sales activities from lead generation through closing and continues to serve as the primary point of contact for customers after the sale. This role combines new business development with ongoing account management, ensuring long‑term customer success and retention. You will develop and implement agreed‑upon Go‑To‑Market plans which meet both personal and business goals within your assigned territory. In addition to closing new business, you will own the customer relationship post‑sale, working closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional service, address customer needs, and identify opportunities for account growth. You will collaborate with the Sales department and support teams to maximize revenue generation, profitability, and world‑class customer satisfaction in line with the company vision and values. This individual will be focused on generating profitable new business while building long‑term, trusted partnerships with customers and will be a key component of our aggressive growth plan. Estimated Salary: $66,300 to $75,000 per year + commission based on qualifications and experience. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, and responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Thorough understanding of pricing and proposal models
  • Strong closing-sale skills to increase market share and profitability
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and their requirements
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Success record in signing new business and growing a customer base are highly preferred
  • Willingness to travel and work in a high-performance culture is required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in the multifamily laundry industry is highly desirable
  • Negotiating skills a plus

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates and executes professional selling skills, technical product knowledge, and industry knowledge
  • Develops an annual business plan in conjunction with the Regional Vice-President of Sales, detailing annual executable activities, which focuses on the District Sales Manager meeting or exceeding a sales quota
  • Sources and develops client relationships and referrals
  • Sells consultatively and makes solution recommendations related to the Hercules Value Proposition to prospects and clients
  • Develops and grows business relationships with property owners and decision-makers
  • Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations and request-for-proposal responses that identify solutions for prospective or current customers
  • Maintains contact with all clients in our market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction are achieved
  • Serves as the primary relationship owner for customers after contract execution, ensuring a smooth transition from sale to ongoing service
  • Manages and grows assigned accounts by maintaining regular communication and proactively addressing customer needs
  • Partners with internal service, operations, and support teams to ensure issues are resolved quickly and customer expectations are exceeded
  • Builds long‑term customer relationships that drive retention, renewals, and incremental revenue opportunities
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their business objectives and aligning Hercules solutions accordingly
  • Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans
  • Local travel up to 50% weekly
