About The Position

Go Security Pro is a dynamic, fast-growing cybersecurity firm with dedicated experts providing tailored cybersecurity services to mid-sized and large businesses and state/local government agencies. We pride ourselves in offering vulnerability management, penetration testing, and risk and compliance services. With a seven-year track record and a strong reputation in the community we are looking for a self-motivated, tech-savvy outside sales representative to help us expand our market presence and drive new revenue. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and acting as a security consultant to prospective clients. You will be in the field, meeting with business decision-makers, demonstrating our value, and closing deals. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to turn complex security threats into understandable business solutions. We expect our employees to work hard, meet established performance benchmarks, maintain a high-level of professionalism, and be a team player. This is not a remote position. This role is on-site in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Some travel required, approximately 25%.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven outside sales, business development, or account management experience.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to the rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape.
  • A foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts (e.g., firewall, endpoint protection, SIEM, penetration testing).
  • Strong "hunter" mentality with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B technology sales, Managed Service Provider (MSP) sales, or cybersecurity is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Generate New Business: Identify and prospect new business leads through networking, local trade shows, and cold calling within designated territories.
  • Full Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process from initial contact, discovery meetings, and demonstrations to proposal submission and closing.
  • Consultative Selling: Analyze potential clients’ IT networks and cybersecurity needs, acting as an educator and security consultant to help them choose the best solutions.
  • Develop Relationships: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key technical decision-makers (CTOs, IT Managers) and business owners.
  • Pipeline Management: Utilize CRM software to diligently log all activities, track opportunities, and report on sales performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with Technical Team: Engage with our internal technical experts to scope and translate client requirements into tailored Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Demonstrated Professional Qualities: Successful candidates will thrive and learn from on-the-job training/shadowing, writing sessions, and collaborative editing processes.
  • Manage customer relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor that helps elevate the corporate brand.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic.
