Keep reading. We are looking for an Aftermarket part sales representative for ProMach’s Zalkin product brand. Zalkin is a global leader in high-performance bottle capping machines and cap handling systems for beverages, foods, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and beyond. This position is located in our Statham, GA offices and supports strategic development of proactive parts sales, retrofits, and upgrades using historic sales data to uncover opportunities on past machine install base.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Two plus years of Industrial Machinery Part Sales experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, written and verbal.
  • Persuasive and proactive.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and mechanical and electrical bill of materials as well as grasp basic technical aspects of machinery.
  • Excellent customer relationship building skills with strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and solve problems.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment.
  • Experience with an ERP systems.
  • Strong Microsoft skills with Excel, Word and Outlook required.
  • Able to travel 10% of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with “Salesforce” a strong plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Grow revenue for the department through proactively analyzing spending trends, business metrics, and parts sales history for customers and create actionable strategies.
  • Support strategic development of proactive parts sales, retrofits, and upgrade sales program using historic sales data to uncover opportunities on past machine install base.
  • Participate in pricing activities by analyzing spending trends and suggesting Market pricing.
  • Send timely and accurate quotations, and follow-up on open quotes to secure orders.
  • Enter orders in CRM and ERP systems and validate order processing details.
  • Use customer procurement portals to receive and confirm customer purchase orders as applicable.
  • Interface closely with the Manufacturing, Engineering, Shipping, Service and Accounting teams to ensure proper accurate information transfer and execution of orders.
  • Perform customer service/support activities as applicable, and interface with high profile customers to ensure their needs are being met.
  • Data Management using aftermarket tools to analyze customer growth opportunities.
  • Lead/Participate in conference calls, meetings, and reports related to customer growth.
  • Coordinate freight shipments when required.
  • Other aftermarket responsibilities as requested by management.
