Learn More at: https://hansonremodeling.com/ Your Role on Our Team As our Sales/Project Developer, you become the first experience Clients have with how we build. You're not a salesperson-you're a construction professional who can help Clients understand their options, define their goals, and choose a path that is realistic, inspiring, and aligned with our production standards. You'll shape projects from the first conversation through design development, ensuring we're setting clear expectations and creating a seamless handoff to our field team.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in residential remodeling, estimating, project development, or pre-construction
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, sequences, and materials
  • Understanding of building codes, permitting, trades, and design documentation
  • Exceptional communication skills-professional, clear, patient, and collaborative
  • A construction-minded professional who builds trust naturally, not through "salesmanship"
  • Organized, detail-focused, and proactive
  • Comfortable with MS Word, Excel, and project management tools
  • High School diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

  • Lead early conversations with Clients -clarifying goals, vision, feasibility, and budget through the lens of your construction expertise.
  • Use your building knowledge to build trust , helping Clients understand design impacts, cost drivers, and trade considerations without overselling.
  • Live our core values: Safety, Communication, Client Focus, Craft, and Teamwork.
  • Strengthen relationships with Designers, Project Managers, subcontractors, and homeowners through clear, respectful, proactive communication.
  • Collaborate with Designers to translate concepts into accurate scopes, drawings, and specifications.
  • Develop and document design decisions , estimates, and assumptions to maintain clarity throughout pre-construction.
  • Support estimating by gathering trade partner input and confirming pricing and materials.
  • Guide Clients through the design-to-production handoff , ensuring they feel informed, supported, and confident.
  • Attend pre-construction and final walk-through meetings , reinforcing continuity and ensuring project alignment.
  • Maintain thoughtful, detailed documentation and provide accurate reporting to internal teams.
