About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Sales & Procurement Representative to enhance customer relationships, develop suppliers, and handle light purchasing within the automotive manufacturing industry. This role involves close collaboration with Tier 1 customers, internal teams, and outsourcing partners to support pricing, quoting, and the launch of new programs.
Requirements
- Experience working for a manufacturing company in a sales/procurement role.
- Balanced experience in sales, purchasing, sourcing, or program management.
- Strong communication skills; Japanese language proficiency is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a small team environment.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Japanese and English is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Maintain relationships with 4 Tier 1 customers and 4 outsourcing suppliers.
- Support new business development, quoting, pricing updates, and prototype requests.
- Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, and Production Control on new project start-ups.
- Analyze design, material, and process changes for cost impact.
- Manage approximately 5 purchase orders per week for outsourced products.
- Assist with supplier negotiations and issue resolution.
- Utilize Excel for reporting, including formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
- Work within the IQMS ERP system (experience not required).
