THE ROLE: SALES PLANNING DIRECTOR The Sales Planning Director is the air traffic controller of the org, helping to provide leadership and coordination among Finance, Brand, Operations, Marketing, and Sales. The Sales Planning Director drives all Sales activity at EMJ and is accountable for all execution and results. The job requires experience, patience, flexibility, and leadership to manage the challenges, taking advantage of the opportunities that a fast-growing company will face. The Sales Planning Director reports directly to the VP Sales with additional support from Brand, Marketing, Project Management, and Demand Planning. Opportunities for new experiences to demonstrate leadership and growth are limitless. This role is responsible for managing a Sr. Category Development Manager. THE CANDIDATE: Candidates must be highly motivated and have exceptional written and verbal communication, sound judgment, recognized problem-solving abilities and a proven track record of excelling in a self-directed work environment. The ideal candidate will be approachable with a positive, innovative, and professional attitude who works smarter, not harder, and takes on a “sleeves-rolled-up” and a “can-do” attitude when faced with challenges.
