You’ll have the unique opportunity to design and lead the sales planning cycle—from territory optimization to commission structures—directly influencing the motivation and success of our global sales force.

Requirements

  • Industry Expertise: You have 3–5 years of experience in Sales Operations with a dedicated focus on incentive compensation design in a fast-paced tech environment.
  • Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or an Operational field.
  • Technical Mastery: Proven proficiency in Salesforce and advanced data tools like Excel, Domo, or Tableau.
  • Collaborative Communication: You are a natural communicator with a proven talent for translating complex data into clear narratives for executive leadership.

  • Experience designing multi-channel direct sales compensation strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Architect the Sales Cycle: Drive the annual sales planning timeline and alignment to deliver comprehensive compensation details for our global Sales Kickoff.
  • Optimize Global Territories: Conduct deep-dive analysis to define territories and set the stage for organizational growth and peak efficiency.
  • Strategize Quotas & Commissions: Design and manage impactful sales compensation plans and targets that align seller expectations with Trimble’s visionary goals.
  • Automate for Success: Champion sales tool automation to reduce manual tasks, allowing our teams to focus on what they do best: driving revenue.
  • Influence Leadership: Prepare and present executive summaries to sales leadership, acting as a trusted advisor on the health of the sales funnel and performance gaps.
