About The Position

LoveStream is a high-growth events technology company powering thousands of live and virtual experiences across the U.S., expanding from weddings and hospitality into corporate events, brand activations, and enterprise experiences. The company is seeking a Sales Operator to manage a critical part of its sales funnel by converting inbound leads into booked calls and closed deals primarily through text and email. This is not a traditional sales role involving cold calling or extensive phone work; instead, the operator will handle a high volume of inbound leads, communicating with customers via text and email to guide them towards a purchase or escalate to an Account Executive when necessary. The role is suited for individuals who enjoy sales but prefer written communication and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or similar
  • Strong written communication skills (clear, concise, persuasive)
  • Sales instincts—knowing when to push, when to wait, and when to escalate
  • Ability to manage multiple conversations simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter who can operate independently without heavy oversight
  • Preference for text/email-based selling over phone calls

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in chat-based or text-based sales environments
  • Background in PR, copywriting, or customer-facing writing roles
  • Experience with inbound lead conversion or high-volume funnels
  • Familiarity with CRM or messaging platforms

Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to a high volume of inbound leads (up to hundreds per day)
  • Engage prospects via text and email to answer questions and guide them toward a purchase
  • Use templates and messaging frameworks while knowing when to personalize responses
  • Identify opportunities to close deals directly or push prospects to book a call
  • Hand off more complex or high-touch opportunities to Account Executives
  • Continuously move conversations forward and prevent leads from stalling
  • Balance speed and quality across multiple conversations at once
