About The Position

Maleda Tech is seeking a driven and community-focused Sales Operations Specialist to support the growth of an innovative in-home services marketplace. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in relationship-building, enjoys being out in the field, and is energized by connecting local service providers with new business opportunities. You will serve as a frontline representative in key Los Angeles neighborhoods, generating leads, delivering in-person sales conversations, and supporting the early onboarding of new partners. This is a fast-paced, people-first role that blends sales, community engagement, and operational coordination.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in sales, partnerships, community engagement, or business development
• Strong interpersonal skills with confidence initiating conversations in person, over the phone, and online
• Proactive, resourceful mindset with the ability to test new outreach approaches
• Highly organized with experience managing multiple leads and conversations simultaneously
• Clear, positive communicator with a personable and authentic style
• Must be based in Los Angeles with strong local market knowledge

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with community platforms such as Facebook Groups, Reddit, or Nextdoor is a plus
• Experience working with small business owners, independent contractors, or local service providers preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential service partners through in-person outreach, online research, cold calling, and local networking
• Conduct compelling face-to-face sales conversations to introduce offerings and convert interest into active leads
• Support the initial onboarding process by coordinating with internal teams and ensuring new partners are set up for success
• Build strong relationships within local communities and professional networks
• Gather market feedback and insights to help improve outreach strategies and service offerings
• Maintain organized tracking of leads, conversations, and follow-ups across multiple channels
