About The Position

Sales Operations Specialist The Opportunity As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will help keep two Senior Leaders within the U.S. Sales organization running efficiently by coordinating essential activities that enable their teams to focus on supporting the power grid’s evolving needs. Your work will span travel coordination, presentation preparation, onboarding support, scheduling, reporting, and ongoing communication across key partners in Sales Operations, IT, HR, and business units. This role offers variety and autonomy as you help streamline processes, organize data, and maintain clarity in day‑to‑day operations. By ensuring timely information flow and smooth administrative foundations, you will contribute to the effectiveness of regional sales efforts that support the reliability, modernization, and growth of energy solutions across the grid.

Requirements

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience, OR associate degree and 4 years of experience, OR 6+ years of administrative support experience.
  • Must work in the Mountain Time Zone to support both West and Central Time Zones.
  • Experience handling confidential information related to employees and organization strategy.
  • Able to work with people across functions and levels with clear and professional communication.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and support several members of the Sales Leadership team.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, including Excel (formulas and pivot tables), and comfortable using additional software tools.
  • Motivated, organized, and able to prioritize responsibilities with a steady sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage travel arrangements and ensure all bookings follow relevant compliance practices.
  • Assist with the creation of regional presentations by gathering information, preparing templates, and finalizing materials.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new sales team members to ensure access, equipment, and meetings are ready on day one.
  • Serve as a point of contact for regional sales teams and help navigate connections across internal partners.
  • Maintain schedules by booking meetings, resolving conflicts, and keeping Senior Leaders informed of priorities.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports by gathering documentation, following policies, and handling Concur submissions.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including logistics, materials, and follow‑up needs.
  • Support monthly reporting by compiling snapshots, key opportunities, and market updates.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
