About The Position

EV.Careers is currently seeking a </span> full-time Sales Operations Manager</span> for one of our partners that is a leading provider of electric vehicle charging infrastructure solutions serving commercial operations across the United States. In this position, you will support end-to-end commercial operations, including sales process management, pricing administration, order-to-delivery coordination, accounts receivable tracking, and cross-functional communication between U.S. operations and international headquarters. This is an excellent opportunity to drive operational efficiency in a fast-growing EV charging industry while managing critical functions that support revenue growth and customer satisfaction.</span>

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related discipline
  • 3–7 years of professional experience in commercial operations, order fulfillment, or accounts receivable/billing functions (manufacturing or business-to-business sectors preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Customer Relationship Management systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning platforms (Salesforce/SAP/Oracle experience is a plus)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities with strong organizational competencies
  • Capable of juggling multiple priorities simultaneously within a dynamic, collaborative work environment
  • Demonstrates personal responsibility and follows through on commitments
  • Systematic approach to work with meticulous attention to detail
  • Robust data analysis and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Background in electric vehicle infrastructure, energy sector, automotive industry, or hardware manufacturing (3+ years preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with receivables management and collections, including aging analysis, billing systems, SAP Financial/Sales & Distribution modules, or credit evaluation workflows
  • Previous experience navigating international headquarters and subsidiary organizational dynamics

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation of quotes, sales orders, proposal documentation, and customer submission materials for EV charging infrastructure projects
  • Coordinate Request for Information, Request for Quotation, and Request for Proposal processes and develop comprehensive proposal packages for government-funded and commercial opportunities
  • Ensure accurate CRM data management, revenue forecasting, and oversight of pricing and discount frameworks
  • Monitor and document contractual terms, including shipping conditions, payment schedules, and warranty provisions
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and project teams to align production timelines with delivery commitments
  • Track order backlog against sales projections and inventory levels while generating regular operational status reports
  • Mitigate fulfillment risks related to production delays, storage constraints, and customer site preparedness to maintain delivery schedules
  • Oversee billing processes and produce customer-facing invoices and supporting delivery documentation
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports across 30/60/90-day intervals and collaborate with Sales and Finance on collection efforts
  • Ensure adherence to contractual payment obligations and proactively communicate potential payment risks
  • Process credit adjustments, resolve billing disputes, and handle tax, duty, and financial documentation requests
  • Develop and present monthly and quarterly accounts receivable performance reports for leadership
  • Act as the primary point of contact connecting domestic sales teams, international headquarters departments, customer support, and production facilities
  • Prepare compliance documentation, regulatory forms, and materials required for customer account setup
  • Distribute product information updates, technical bulletins, and facilitate the resolution of customer concerns across departments
  • Create regular performance dashboards that track revenue, receivables, order fulfillment, and sales pipeline health
  • Review operational and sales metrics to uncover potential challenges and recommend process enhancements
  • Provide documentation support for regulatory audits, compliance requirements, and manufacturing/inventory reporting
  • Research industry developments, competitive intelligence, and available funding programs for EV infrastructure and share insights with stakeholders
  • Facilitate ongoing customer correspondence, shipment status updates, and preparation for client meetings
  • Maintain records of warranty coverage based on individual contract specifications
