About The Position

GCG Connectivity & Power Solutions is currently seeking a Sales Operations Manager to join our sales leadership team out of our Collegeville, PA location! In this highly visible role, you’ll own and continuously improve the sales operating model that enables consistent revenue growth, higher seller productivity, and disciplined execution across the division's sales organization. You’ll partner closely with sales leadership to translate strategy into scalable processes, actionable insights, and repeatable execution. You’ll lead core sales operations functions—including CRM adoption, process optimization, data integrity, and enablement—while influencing a broad group of sales leaders, sellers, and cross-functional partners. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, systems, and execution and enjoys driving clarity and consistency in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field; MBA a plus
  • Proven experience in sales operations, sales support, sales management, or a related role
  • Strong experience with Salesforce; ERP system exposure required (specific ERP experience not required)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and translate insights into practical actions
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM systems, and sales enablement best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across teams and levels
  • Experience managing or mentoring others, with a collaborative and coaching-oriented leadership style
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapt to change
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve the sales operating model to drive revenue growth, margin performance, and seller effectiveness
  • Drive adoption, compliance, and continuous improvement of sales processes, tools, and methodologies
  • Own Salesforce usage, data quality, and reporting standards to ensure reliable insights and decision-making
  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize sales automation tools, CRM enhancements, and supporting technologies
  • Identify bottlenecks and gaps in the sales process and implement solutions to improve execution speed and consistency
  • Develop and maintain sales KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting across activity, financial, and outcome-based metrics
  • Translate sales data into actionable insights that inform leadership decisions and performance improvement plans
  • Partner with sales leadership to define training needs and collaborate with training teams to deliver enablement programs
  • Ensure sellers have access to accurate product data, pricing guidance, tools, and sales collateral
  • Support onboarding and ongoing enablement for sales team members
  • Manage and develop one direct report while influencing and enabling a broader cross-functional stakeholder group
  • Collaborate closely with sales, finance, operations, IT, and marketing teams to support business objectives
  • Perform other duties as assigned
