About The Position

Alter Domus is currently seeking a new Sales Operations Manager to join its Sales Operations team at our New York Office. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations or a similar analytical/commercial role, preferably within the alternative investment industry.
  • Strong understanding of global service delivery models and the business needs of alternative investment participants.
  • Proven experience managing teams in a multinational environment.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and translate it into strategic insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other data visualization/analytics tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, CRM Analytics, and Outreach.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Analysis & Insight GenerationDevelop and apply innovative analytical approaches to identify sales growth opportunities—both within existing client portfolios (share of wallet) and across new business prospects. Deliver actionable insights that shape commercial strategy and execution.
  • Performance Monitoring & ReportingLead the preparation and continuous improvement of commercial performance dashboards and reports (recurring and ad hoc). Identify key trends, risks, and opportunities, and present findings to the Commercial Leadership Team to inform strategic decisions.
  • RFP & Proposal ManagementCollaborate with global Sales & RM teams to project manage and lead the development of high-impact RFPs, proposals, and sales materials—particularly for strategic and key client deals.
  • Process Optimization & AutomationIdentify and implement automation opportunities to streamline reporting, improve data quality, and enhance team efficiency. Champion best practices in data management and reporting consistency.
  • Market Intelligence & Competitive InsightsCentralize and curate relevant industry, regulatory, macroeconomic, and fintech insights to support sales pitches and strategic planning.
  • Commercial Technology & CRM LeadershipActively contribute to the evolution of the Commercial Technology Stack, including CRM and Sales Engagement tools. Provide training, support, and troubleshooting for users, ensuring optimal adoption and usage.
  • Team Leadership & DevelopmentMentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and analytical excellence. Support onboarding and upskilling of new users across tools and processes.
  • Deal Governance & Pipeline ManagementLead deal reviews and coordinate follow-up actions to ensure alignment, accountability, and progress across commercial initiatives.
