The Sales Operations Analyst supports our global Sales teams and works in close collaboration with our internal partners, including Finance, IT, Legal, and Marketing departments. This position reports to the Sales Operations Manager and is part of the Sales department located in Lexington, MA . In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Sales Commission Management : Calculate sales commissions, while leading initiatives to automate and streamline the commission process. Sales Forecast & CRM Data Management: Oversee the accuracy of sales forecasts by collaborating closely with the sales team for timely updates. Ensure CRM data integrity through regular audits and maintenance to support reliable reporting and decision-making. Process Compliance: Oversee the fulfillment of sales processes to guarantee adherence and efficiency. Report and Dashboard Management: Create and update CRM reports and other reports, and dashboards to provide clear visibility into performance metrics. Sales Tools Leadership: Act as a champion for sales tools by updating user documentation, conducting training sessions, and providing ongoing user support. Support and Assistance: Address inquiries from the sales team and other functions within Genedata regarding tools and processes, fostering a supportive environment. Quality Assurance: Test new CRM functionalities before deployment to ensure they meet production standards.

Requirements

  • A relevant university degree in Economics, Finance, or related.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in calculating and managing sales commission processes, including interpreting compensation plans, ensuring accurate payouts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in working with numbers, reports, and sales analytics is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel (pivot tables and formulas), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Structured, with strong organizational skills, accountable, efficient, proactive, highly communicative nature, and strong team player.
  • Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with commission software.
  • Experience with configuring dashboards in PowerBI.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Background in sales.
