The company is hiring a Sales Operations Analyst to support the Facilities Supplies Customer Group. This role, within National Accounts, focuses on driving profitable growth, leading new account implementations, developing internal and external reporting, and providing direct support for ongoing account management. The analyst will interact with Field Sales, Branches, MRO Solution Center, National Account Managers, Price Management, Marketing, Strategic Products Group, and directly with customers, whose average annual sales exceed $1 MM.

Requirements

  • 5 + years of experience Sales Operations Analytics
  • Trilogie – Pricing, Customer File Maintenance, Invoice reviews
  • Prior experience running existing Power BI reports
  • Proficient in Microsoft Software applications including significant Excel skills and basic PowerPoint skills
  • Writing Skills
  • Understanding of pricing methodologies and strategy
  • Ability to coordinate projects, delegate responsibility and ensure completion

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to write adhoc PowerBI reports a plus
  • Customer facing experience desirable – Branch, NSC or other
  • Understanding of National Accounts structure and intent
  • Exposure and experience with customer contracts

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the National Account Managers that will assist in the growth and development of assigned accounts
  • Understand assigned customer agreements including written contracts and incentive programs
  • Ensure a summary of customer agreement in place and understood by team
  • Ensure customer file is aligned with contractual and strategic requirements including price columns, matrix pricing, and payment terms
  • Ensure National Account Manager is aware of pending contract renewal requirements
  • Prepare Customer Quarterly Review meeting presentations – Run Power BI reports, analyze data and prepare 5-10 slide PowerPoint presentations
  • Coordinate online catalog updates
  • Work with National Account Manager to maintain Pipeline and Sharepoint information pertinent to each customer
  • Complete and distribute monthly/quarterly reporting to customers providing feedback based on customer structure and vendor programs
  • Assist NAM’s with identifying who to contact for what
  • Complete customer analysis of existing customers to better understand what districts we do business in, overall sales and gross profit by district, product mix analysis, and existing pricing structure
  • Recommend customer approach given analysis and participate in conversation with Director and Branches to determine best method
  • Ensure compliance with national account pricing strategy
