General Summary Of Duties: Provide convention business with the services necessary to fulfill their convention/meeting requirements (i.e.; hotel rooms, meeting, and function space. Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following) Responsible for reaching room nights and revenue goals. Daily responsibilities include sales calls, writing proposals, negotiating contracts, closing business deals, entertain clients, conduct site inspections and attend trade shows. Work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers. Create a comprehensive strategic and tactical sales and marketing plan. Monitor lost business and comp reports. Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings. Performs other duties as assigned.
