About The Position

BMG is seeking an enthusiastic, driven, and professionally polished Sales & Marketing Intern to join our team. This is a paid, in-office internship offering 30 hours per week working directly alongside executive management. The selected candidate will gain hands-on experience in broadcast media, B2B sales support, content creation, and strategic marketing, making this a truly exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual looking to launch a career in media or marketing.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience managing professional LinkedIn and Instagram accounts (please be prepared to share examples).
  • Exceptional professional writing skills clear, compelling, and polished across formats including social media posts, proposals, and correspondence.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outgoing, confident personality with strong interpersonal skills and a team-first attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint for presentations.
  • Ability to commit to 30 hours per week, in-office.

Nice To Haves

  • Video editing skills and experience with tools such as Adobe Premiere, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite).
  • Strong Knowledge of AI
  • Prior internship or work experience in media, advertising, or marketing.
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar).

Responsibilities

  • Create, schedule, and manage professional social media content for LinkedIn and Instagram, maintaining a consistent brand voice and driving audience engagement.
  • Conduct market research to identify business opportunities, industry trends, competitor analysis, and prospective client profiles.
  • Draft and assist in the development of proposals, pitch decks, and sales presentations for clients and prospects.
  • Support the sales team with outreach materials, follow-up communications, and CRM data entry.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing collateral including one-sheets, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
  • Edit and produce short-form video content for digital platforms and internal use.
  • Collaborate directly with executive management on strategic initiatives and special projects.
  • Monitor social media analytics and prepare performance summaries and recommendations.
