The Remanufacturing Division (Reman) has an open Accountable position supporting Reman’s Sales & Marketing organization. This accountable role leads the financial reporting processes for Reman’s Caterpillar Specialized Commercial Solutions (CSCS) business, as well as the On Highway Truck (OHT) business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in – Accounting or Finance
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Managing Multiple Priorities : Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.
  • Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.

Responsibilities

  • Sales & Marketing Accountant leads the accountable financial reporting efforts for Reman’s CSCS business, which is a unique business supporting the sales of rebuilt gensets.
  • Lead the monthly accountable financial reporting efforts for Reman’s OHT business, which is an aftermarket parts business
  • Lead annual and quarterly forecasting cycles for CSCS and OHT
  • Provide period cost reporting and forecasting for managers within the Sales & Marketing organization
  • Be a trusted business partner to Reman’s CSCS and OHT business leaders.
  • Support ad hoc projects.
